One discipline, one kind of client.
ValtaGuard provides cybersecurity and patient-record protection for dental practices. That is the whole job.

Matthew
For thirty-two years, Matthew has worked in IT support and firewall security, the part of the work that decides who gets in, what gets out, and how fast an office recovers when something breaks.
ValtaGuard is a new company, separate from Matthew's other IT work. It exists because dental practices sit in an unusual spot: small teams, specialized software, imaging systems, and a legal duty to protect every patient record on the network.
The work is remote first. Most firewall, account, and backup care is done securely from outside the office, which means faster response and less disruption to the schedule.
Outside of work, Matthew is a husband and father. That same sense of responsibility carries over into how he approaches a practice's network and patient records: the kind of care he'd want for the people and information he's trusted to protect.
A focused security partner for dental practices.
ValtaGuard is built for dental practices that want specialized cybersecurity support, not another general IT vendor.
Matthew focuses on the security work that helps protect patient information, practice continuity, and the technology environment behind your office. The approach is clear, direct, and designed around the risks that matter most to a dental practice.
Focused on security, not general helpdesk work
Routine printer issues, new-monitor setup, and everyday email support typically belong with your internal team or primary IT provider. Matthew focuses on cybersecurity, firewall security, secure access, risk reduction, backup and recovery readiness, and practical response planning.
A deliberately limited client roster
Matthew works with a select number of dental practices so reserved support time remains meaningful and every client receives direct, attentive service. This is designed to create a more accountable relationship, not a high-volume ticket queue.
A defined security review with written findings
The first engagement is a clearly scoped, quoted security review, not a generic sales call. You receive written findings and practical priorities you can keep, whether or not you decide to continue working together.
Designed to work alongside your current IT team
If your practice already has an IT provider, Matthew can complement that relationship with focused cybersecurity guidance and collaborate with the people who manage your day-to-day technology. You do not need to replace your current IT support to strengthen your practice's security.
Before work requires access to protected health information, Matthew uses an appropriate Business Associate Agreement to clearly establish responsibilities for safeguarding that information.
Signed before the work begins.
Any vendor who can reach Protected Health Information on your behalf is a business associate under HIPAA. ValtaGuard uses a Business Associate Agreement with every practice whenever work requires access to Protected Health Information.
Our work supports the technical safeguards in the current HIPAA Security Rule. Compliance itself remains the practice's responsibility, and we document our part of it clearly so your records are in order.
